Applications for admission to the Master of Business Administration degree at Ivey Business School are presently being accepted (Western University Canada). All Ivey MBA applicants will be considered for merit-based awards and scholarships, the majority of which are open to overseas students. In fact, admission scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $65,000 are awarded to 80% of prospective students (both local and international). Ivey Scholarships for International Students recognize academic achievement.
Applicants must complete the Scholarships portion of the online MBA admission application in order to be eligible for an admissions grant. Each consideration does not require a separate application. Prior to the start of the program, successful applicants will be notified of their admissions offer.
Ivey Business School (Ivey) is the business school of the University of Western Ontario, located in London, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1949. Ivey provides full-time undergraduate (HBA), MBA, M.Sc., MFE, and Ph.D. programs and was the first institution to establish Canada’s first MBA and Ph.D. in Business. Eligibility for Ivey Scholarships for Foreign Students
Candidates must have been born outside of Canada and be resident in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, or the Caribbean at the time of application to be eligible for this Canada scholarship. You must also meet the academic admissions standards (GPA and GMAT) and perform well in the admissions interview procedure. The admissions committee will choose the recipients.
Language Proficiency in English
Foreign applicants who did not complete their post-secondary education at an English-speaking institution or who do not have substantial job experience in an English-speaking environment must demonstrate a high level of English proficiency. This can be accomplished by passing an English language competency test:

Checklist for Applications
- Transcripts from all postsecondary institutions, unofficial. If a candidate obtains an admission offer, one copy of official/certified transcripts will be required. For graduates of the University of Western Ontario (UWO), Ivey’s Admissions Office will contact UWO directly to receive transcripts, so you do not need to order them.
- The GMAT score (Designate Ivey with code CMB-MG-18) OR your GRE score (Designate Ivey with code 0292)
- The GMAT is not required for those who have passed all three levels of the CFA designation.
- A résumé proving at least two years of full-time job experience is required.
- Score on the TOEFL or IELTS (if required for ESL applicants)

Note: All overseas applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by September 18, 2023 (Round 4) to provide for adequate visa processing time.
The application date for 2024 is January 8, 2024. Applicants are reviewed on a rolling basis, and admissions and scholarship decisions are made in the time between application deadlines.
