For Undergraduates
Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship
This fellowship is open to students who have never attended the University of Otago and have had financial difficulties in pursuing academic ambitions.
- Eligible Students: All international students who are not permanent residents of New Zealand/Australia.
- Eligible Programs: All undergraduate programs are located on the Dunedin campus.
- Amount of the award: NZD$10,000 to fund tuition fees.
- Grant duration: 12 months during the first year of study
- Application deadlines: 10 December 2022 for Semester 1 and 30 April 2023 for Semester 2.
For Postgraduates
1) International Excellence Scholarship
Merit-based scholarships are available for students who have demonstrated academic achievement and plan to begin selected postgraduate programs.
