Every year, Co-College provides a fantastic full tuition scholarship opportunity for international students aiming to pursue their undergraduate degree. This scholarship covers the entire tuition amount for the first year and is renewable for the next 3 years at the same amount, with an additional yearly increase of $11,000.
Qualify For Opportunity
To qualify for this incredible opportunity, students need to be first-time college students, plan to reside on campus, and complete both the application for admission and a separate full tuition scholarship application. It’s a great chance for aspiring students to receive significant financial support throughout their undergraduate journey at Co-College.
In addition to the Global Leadership scholarship, the university provides Merit Scholarships for high-achieving high school graduates, offering financial support of up to $36,000 per year. Additionally, students with a passion for the arts, including art, music, film studies, or theater arts, can audition for the Visual and Performing Arts scholarship. These scholarships, valued at up to $4,000 per year, require a separate interview or portfolio review and are awarded to those intending to major or participate in these academic areas.
Financially Support
For those in need of financial assistance, there’s also the option to apply for need-based aid at the university, making higher education more accessible for students embarking on their university journey. International students at Co-College are eligible for the Co-College Work-Study program, offering an excellent opportunity to financially support their education while gaining valuable work experience on campus.
With the potential to earn up to $1,800 per year for eight hours of work per week and the flexibility to work up to 20 hours per week during academic sessions and up to 40 hours per week during holidays, the total award can amount to around $7,000 per year. This serves as a significant contribution to the cost of education, giving students the choice to either save the money or apply it towards tuition fees.
Moreover, new students enrolling at the university can apply for the Ann Doyle International Student Award through Co-College’s membership in the Study Iowa Consortium. This $1,000 award serves as a travel grant, helping international students with their travel expenses as they begin their academic journey at the college.
